Candlestick Point State Recreation Area

Candlestick Point State Recreation Area (CPSRA) is California’s first urban state park, named for the burning masts of abandoned sailboats. Hiking trails, picnic areas, and fishing piers offer beautiful views of the San Francisco Bay. Renovations to the site now under way include: native habitat planting, construction of an urban campsite, trail connectivity, and a launch point for outrigger canoes and kayaks.
