The SF Marathon finishes alongside Rincon Park, so it’s a great spot to camp out and cheer on your favorite runner. – Jake
This park is best known for the art installation “Cupid’s Span,” a sculpture by artists Claus Oldenberg and Coosje van Bruggen. Installed in 2002 with the opening of the park, Cupid’s Span honors San Francisco’s reputation for love and creativity and references the city’s reputation for being the home port of Eros–the Greek god of love and desire.
